I know porridge is simple - but it really is one of my favorite ways to start the day :) Delicious, filling and all about the toppings! This has become a fav....
1/2 cup steel-cut oats
1 cup water or almond milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon flaked almonds
As many fresh figs as you desire!
Cook your porridge to your desired consistency by putting your oats and water/almond milk in a pan. I like mine to still be a bit chewy!
Top your porridge with cinnamon, almonds and divine fresh figs.
It's truly a magical way to start the day.
