Easily my favorite celebrity animal rights activist.
If you're late to the party following Ricky on all social media, here's your incentive to get on it.
1) He says what needs to be said. Which is usually - "f**k you."
2) He makes you use your damn brain
3) He belittles you if you insist on taking your power from innocent beings
4) He wants you to rescue adorable dogs
5) He fights animal testing like a boss
7) He is a voice for animals.
8) A damn powerful voice.
9) He is adorable
10) He wants YOU to be a Voice....
If you are a remotely likeable, intelligent, compassionate person and feel comfortable stating the bloody obvious (I.e. - DO NOT HURT INNOCENT ANIMALS) people will respond.
If you do it aptly - they will listen. They will think. They will process in their own way.
And if they don't, they aren't anywhere near as cool as Ricky....
Stand up for what you believe in when you know it's right, however unpopular the opinion may seem in a sweeping mess of animal cruelty.
Amongst the Big Macs, the Starbucks lattes and the leather handbags - your post sharing, your questioning and "likes" on Ricky's page (or even just mine!) can make all the difference. That can be the difference between a compassionate person being exposed to cruelty or not. The difference between saving an animals life.
You can stand up for animals in your own way. As simple as a "like" or as complex as writing a post, starting a blog or signing a petition.
But please - follow Ricky's example and do SOMETHING.
Follow his brilliance -
